FCC Vision Terms & Conditions

Overview

Farm Credit Canada (“FCC”) operates FCC Vision, a research panel designed to gather input from individuals involved in agriculture and food. Through surveys, focus groups, and interviews (collectively, “Research Studies”), FCC collects feedback to support its mandate of promoting Canadian agriculture. FCC Vision may engage third-party service providers to assist in inviting members to participate in Research Studies and collecting feedback.

Membership Requirements

To become a member of FCC Vision, you must provide consent and basic personal information, including:

• Name, address and e-mail address;
• Demographic information

You may update your personal information or preferences at any time by contacting FCC Vision.

Member Benefits

As a member of FCC Vision:

• You may be invited to participate in 3 to 15 Research Studies per year, depending on the demographic profile.
• You will gain access to FCC research results.
• You will earn Vision points for participating in Research Studies.

Vision Points Program

• Surveys typically earn between 25 and 100 Vision Points.
• Online focus groups, in-person interviews, or focus groups may earn up to 1,000 Vision Points or a cash equivalent (10 points = $1).
• Points are redeemable for Digital Gift Cards via the FCC Vision website.

Important Notes

• Gift Cards must be accepted as issued and cannot be substituted, or redeemed for cash.
• Upon termination or relinquishment of membership, unused Vision Points will be deleted and cannot be redeemed.

Member Account & Profile

Your personal information is used to create your FCC Vision profile and determine suitable Research Studies. To maintain data integrity:

• You may not create or use more than one Member Account.
• You must not use false or misleading information.
• You may not use another member’s account.

Your account is accessed via your login credentials, which must be kept confidential. FCC Vision is not liable for unauthorized use of your account.

Participation in Research Studies

Participation is voluntary. You are never obligated to take part in any Research Study, and declining to participate will not affect your membership status.

Use of Research Results

By participating, you release any rights to the data or materials derived from your input (“Results”). FCC Vision may use Results internally or externally, with all personal identifiers removed. Publicly shared Results will be reported in aggregate form only.

Limitation of Liability

FCC Vision, FCC, and their affiliates are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your participation in Research Studies.

Open Discussion Guidelines

FCC Vision encourages open dialogue but prohibits submission of:

• Defamatory, abusive, obscene, misleading, or unlawful content
• Unsolicited advertising or promotional materials
• Hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory remarks

Violations may result in removal of content and suspension or termination of membership.

Survey Integrity Standards

To ensure high-quality data, members must not:

• Submit surveys completed in significantly less time than expected
• Provide bot-generated or patterned responses
• Submit inconsistent or illogical answers
• Use offensive or discriminatory language

FCC Vision reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for violations.

Violation Review Procedure

FCC Vision is committed to maintaining a respectful and high-integrity research environment. If a violation is suspected:

1. Initial Review: FCC Vision’s research team will assess the activity.
2. Temporary Suspension: Member access may be suspended during the review.
3. Notification: The member may be contacted for clarification.
4. Final Determination: FCC Vision will decide on reinstatement, continued suspension, or termination.
5. No Obligation to Reinstate: FCC Vision reserves the right to make final decisions to protect research integrity.

FCC Vision does not tolerate hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory behavior. Such violations may result in immediate termination without notice.
